No Longer Shedding My Past ...

I normally view my birthday like how I view New Years: time for a fresh start, new beginnings, shedding the old, etc., etc.

This year, I am embracing the old and no longer shedding the past with a desire to hit the "reset" button.

No, my past and everything that it entails has made me the woman I have become; adding the "present" is the icing on the cake to the woman who I will be in the future.

Now, that is a nice thought. 😊 🎂 🥳 🎉
